![]() I think they are just good at cleaning them up in Aberdeen. I was told that Goliath hasn't been repainted in his ownership, they just cleaned up the old paint work, it looked absolutely pristine at GDSF last year. It was also very sunny yesterday which made it shine even more.

I caught the lagging of the Horses Friend with the front wheel when John took it to Kemble. I was absoloutly gutted about it as it made a real mess of the paint. By the next rally out John had got Bob to it, who had touched in the paint, and revarnished the front section of cladding. Other than looking a little more shiny than the rest of the engine you would never had known what I had done. Three or four events later the shine had dulled a bit and it was completely un-noticeable.

![]() I doubt it. The paintwork is only 3 years old................ In 30 years time it may need some attention! I think you are seeing the results of lots of elbow grease and polish with plenty of silicone in it.
