Small Fowler type bell whistle
This Fowler bell whistle was purchased from the late Roy Wakefield in 2006 but has never been fitted or tried since, as the original whistle was then located for engine it was intended for.
The whistle is 10” overall height / 3” in diameter / with a ¾” BSP fitting. There are do dents or damage, it is complete, original, shows signs of having been on an engine and used, would suit most engines up to Road Loco and K7 size. Roy didn’t say which actual engine it came from and I have never tried it to hear the tone however when the bell is flicked it gives a high clear ring.

Original ¾” / 1” Fowler clack valve in excellent original condition, complete with poppet valve and taper plug cock isolation valve built in. Designed for fitment to the horn plate or flat pad on the boiler barrel with a 3 stud boiler mounting of 3 3/8” PCD over a bronze olive (olive not included) All the sealing faces are in excellent condition including the inlet flange which has four bolt holes with a 2 7/8” PCD. This valve has been used but is good condition.
