We are supposed to be steam ploughing at Whiddon Down near Okehampton on Sunday - however the weather forecast referes to torrential rain !

We didn't even try to get into the field!
Mike Smiths and our BB1's (15164 and 15163) had been left in a nearby farm so we lit them up and loaded them home.

It rained all the time that we steamed and loaded them.

I don't know what it was like at Whiddon Down, apart from what you have already posted, but down here in South Devon it has been stormy all day and now at 0200 on Monday morning it is chucking it down.

We have a 100% reliable weather forcasting system in our house, it is called Titch - our Terrier dog. If she goes in the garden and comes in dry, we know that it is not raining, if she comes in wet we know that it is. If she comes in freezing cold we know that it is time to put the central heating on!. Forecasting system works very well and is very cheap to run.
