We had a long day out on Saturday. There was a gentle breeze which mitigated some of the heat and it seemed well attended.

To be fair it was very much the same kind of mixture as on our last visit in 2022, but the star of the show for me had to be the Aveling Roller 1760 from 1882.

You mentioned wondering if Nessie was in steam. It was but you've got to look closely to tell, that's how steam-tight it is.
