Pair Lucas 722 Lamps 'King of the Road'

Pair of Lucas 'King of the Road' Lamps.

Stirrup mount (fork).

Believed to be 722 but missing their plates. Broadly 12inches high.

Complete with tank/burners etc.

In very good condition, just a few small dings, importantly - no cracks. See photos.

These used to be on the mantlepiece at fathers home as his pet lamps, as better bits came in on other lamps they were swapped onto these bodies.

These have been plated at some point, now black/brass. One has a steel base - it looks identical to the brass version. These would be better restored black brass IMO.

Also have the hard to find electric conversion which allows fitting bulbs in the back. Ideal for pub road runs with led bulbs and a small battery.
