I've just been sent these x4 photos taken on a phone,
apparently a local company in South LONDON is closing down next week
They have this Broadbent lathe sitting there.
If they can't shift it, its going to be SCRAPPED
My mate said it's in really good nick, all up and running.
As far as I know this is FREE OF CHARGE rather than see it scrapped.
I can't find the exact model via the photos on lathes.co.uk but at this size its about 8.5 - 9.5 tons
I've been told its 16 feet long x 7 feet wide.
Anyone out there ?? - any railways need it ???
