![]() I would not lose too much sleep over a sprung front , you could find that the front end danced about , especially with a single . I reckon that it was for this reason that front springs tended to be very stiff , so as only to move under a shock load . If you look at the paint on front leaf springson a line of engines , many of them appear not to have deflected in years .

![]() I recognize that front end!
The front end of that Wallis used to bounce and go all over the place, but since I have bored and bushed the wheels and took the wear out of the perch bracket it is like a different machine. Along with the gears the most beneficial work done. Now rock steady at about 8MPH if you need to. I do have the drawings for this perch and front axle if required. Vince. |
