Regrettably I have decided to put my Marshall Living van up for sale due to being low on funds completing the Restoration of my Steam Roller, and struggling to afford the rent for the storage, and it would be a shame to have to put it back outside after being in storage for over 2 years. Rare chance to purchase an Original style Marshall Van on Steel Wheels.
It does need work, brilliant winter project for somebody with a Marshall Traction Engine or Steam Roller. It tows very well being sprung. We had it behind a friends Burrell GMT doing approx 8mph and it was very smooth.
Fitted with a BR Brake Van stove, Sink, Gas Hob and oven. Rear double bed, and single along the side which is ontop of the storage cupboards. 2 Outside Storage Bunkers for Oil, Coal, Tools etc. Has cupboards along the side were the sink is, and a full height cupboard immediately to the left inside. Has the traditional Marshall roof vent also.
The main areas that need attention are the front corners top and bottom. Ive no current pictures due to it being surrounded by buses, but I started to remove the boards on the front and along one side. I have a few pictures of the day we put it into storage. Its all nicely dried out ready to start work on. The inside is very nice and only requires clearing out and a good spring clean.
