Large body Eli Griffiths Lamps



Pair of recently refurbished unsprung paraffin lamps with new spun brass bezels and nickel reflectors.

The bulls-eye lenses and bevelled side glasses are in good order but there are a few scratches as is to be expected for their age.
Each lamp is in excellent condition complete with original 1" wide wick, low profile brass burner and large capacity reservoir.

Fully repainted inside and out with a gloss black finish.

Overall height 13", width and depth 7".
Both lamps have the usual small brass plaque beneath the bulls-eye which reads "Eli Griffiths and Sons Bradford St. Birmingham"
A minor point and one that will be barely noticeable when the lamps are mounted on an engine is that although these lamps are of the same design, one is very slightly taller in the body than the other. Please see photos.
