![]() Had a great day yesterday at the Hinds Head at Norton in Hales for Mascots 100th birthday party which coincided with the Beer festival. 9 engines were in attendance throughout the day with 2 Marshall tractors, 3 Aveling rollers, an early Aveling agricultural, a Ransomes, Sims & Jeffries Portable, a miniature Burrell and a Stanley steam car which arrived a little later in the day.
Thanks to Arial West for taking me for a ride on Moonraker, letting me steer on the road for the first time. Made a great day an unforgettable day! ![]() Thanks Ben |

![]() and the cake.
![]() Ex works 19th, but delivered to 1st owner on the 23rd July 1915, so not so far out. I spent its birthday cleaning it roof to rubbers! Thanks to all those who came to celebrate, particularly all those who brought engines and other vehicles. This is just what the hobby should be about. A very special day.

![]() Yes, definitely me. They were smiling. I wasn't! This is the point where we were turning right and had to stop for a car that was coming, and shut the regulator and pulled the reverser back, and assumed that it would stop like mine. Aaaaaaargh!!!! Was great to have a drive of it though to compare. Many thanks.
