Default The event formerly known as Bonfire

Thanks to everyone who made the effort and turned out with or without engines. We had a superb weekend.

No pics from me I am afraid (I'm useless at that)

Thanks to all the helpers.

I think we raised a good few quid for Hope House Hospice in the bargain. Well done all.

Cheers

Tony, Sarah, Ellie and Becky.

A good weekend was had by all (including me), Thanks once again must go to Mrs Firebar for putting up with B.F for another twelve months so we could all turn up again and scoff all the food and drink the beer !!. Nice to see all the young people out and about on the engines, long may it continue.
One black mark was the fact the pub ran out of Pork Scratchings which must be addressed for next time !.

Many thanks for a great weekend, especially well done to all the Basil family. It was a real pleasure to see you all working together. I've sorted a few photo's but will have to find a wifi spot tomorrow to post them.

I'd like to say a massive thank you to Tony and family for the great weekend, and to everyone for being so friendly and making me and my father feel so welcome. We both had a fantastic time. Great food, great drink, great surroundings, and great company. I'll put a few photos on tomorrow.

P.s. Also thanks to General C. R. Dewet for letting me borrow the living van.

One set of people hasn't been specifically thanked, but certainly should be!

Marj and John Paulson of Big Shed Brewery for supplying excellent beer! I certainly had my fair share over the weekend!

Cheers!!
