I think most of the engines have been covered very well in the other posts so here a few of mine that show a few engines and some of the other memories we will treasure until the next time. The highlight for me, not being nautical at all, was seeing close to 100 boats of all sizes navigating around the waters where 3 rivers meet without a single mishap. There was a narrow gauge railway set up along the pavement, the salmon boatmen were cooking fish on the pavement, a forge was in full swing amongst the visitors and there was engine movement everywhere with not a single hi-viz in sight. We also enjoyed the many choirs singing old sea shanty's. We had an apartment very close to the action and ate supper on our seats on the pavement to calls of "eet smakelijk" from total strangers. What a friendly bunch are the people of Dordrecht.
