Default 8' X 5' twin Axle Trailer

I bought this trailer in 2007 as a kit of parts on ebay. I'm unsure of its exact origin but can be pretty certain it was Chinese. It had an unbraked 2" tow hitch and braking on the rear axle only and that was electric. As I wanted it to tow the steam buggy around on, several improvements have been undertaken which turned it into a useful trailer. These are as follows:-

One Avonride overrun brake hitch.
Two new axles with rubber compression suspension.
Five new wheels and tyres.
Rear light bar and front running lights.
Winch.
Tie down hoops.
Support legs.
Ramps .

Being essentially a home made trailer, it doesn’t have a plate on it with stated weights however, the axles are rated at 1300 kg each, the hitch is rated at 2500kg and the tyres are rated at 630kg each. Using the hitch as the limiting factor, that still gives a max load of 1900kg (trailer weighs approx 600kg). Total cost including the purchase of the original trailer was in the region of £1800 .
I'm asking for £900.
Similar sorts of trailer with ramps, winch etc etc are going for around that amount on ebay but please , have a look for yourself.

I have used it to tow the Steam Buggy around for the last 5 years and when it hasn't been towing or at a rally, it's been kept indoors in my garage. The only reason it is going is that it's taking up too much space and has become redundant with the arrival of the buggy's new transport.

If you're interested then please send a PM or email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can (further photos are available).

Regards.

Jon

To be clear, all parts were new in 2007.
