Default Scammell Highwayman x 6

A late friends collection of 6 Scammell Highwayman are coming up for sale by informal tender. They will be advertised else where but the family want them to be placed with genuine enthusiasts. They consist of 3 ballast tractors of which one drives and is in very good condition, another that has a winch and requires cosmetic restoration, another ex Pickfords requires slightly more work but is in good but original condition. 3 units of which one is complete and would probably drive, has a fibre glass cab, the other 2 are stripped and require complete restoration. They do both have brand new wooden cabs although not paneled. All have Leyland engines and have "toggle" brakes. The lorries are located in Derbyshire.

If you or anyone you know who would be genuine bidder i can put you in touch. Please email me at

highwayman881@gmail.com

I will put you in touch with the family.

Thanks

Dave

Just a reminder that the bidding for these is to close on the 31st October. I have had a good look at them in case anyone needs advise etc. Some good lorries, some easy quick restorations and also some good projects. One would even drive home with the appropriate checkover prior to setting off

Sorry! Bit late. Scammells all sold but there are some workshop items, general commercial spares, large air compressor, reciprocating cut off saw, old 4 post ramp, hoists etc.

The property will be for sale too, its an 8 room large detached house with barns and workshop plus other small outbuildings in the centre of South Normanton. Lots of potential for conversion to let or part let. Very sensibly priced.
