Greg,

It was a great first day, something like 12 full size and 10 miniatures were there today. We had a laugh in the pub with a few paper aeroplanes being thrown shame more people were not stopping overnight; Car park was full, I have some great pictures if you send your email address over (don't tell Dave) of all the Miniatures.

Got to say a great big thank you to Dave, his Cake was brill and to Denis, he heard my wife was into this rallying, he frogged marched her off to his engine and made her drive it, it was so funny....as I said a great first day

I'm glad you liked the cake. It was a great day. I've already posted my pictures. I promised to make a couple of CD's for those that asked with them all on. I'll also make some prints for the landlord. It was good to meet you and many others.

Mr Bloor, Sir, thank you for your stupendous efforts today with both camera and mixing bowl...............bloody marvellous!

If you could possibly consider sending your fruit cake by the 'palletload' Im sure we could rustle up an engine to help with the transport logistics!

What a brilliant day and a nice relaxed start to the season. Water wings tomorrow Im afraid, just seen forecast!

Thanks all.
Mark

just got back now, it has rained all day and was very cold, should have brought the engine home last night. I have just looked at Dave's pictures, got to say not as good as his cakes...and he takes good pictures, we were still talking about those cakes this morning.

Well off to wipe the engine down and warm up my toes and fill my belly.
