Default Ellenroad Engine House Steam and Vintage Vehicle Rally

Is anyone going to this on the 6th May? The engine house is normally worth a visit if nothing else.

We intend to take Garrett wagon 34841 and a Fowler traction engine. I understand that other steam engines will be going as well.

Barring any unforseen glitches, Maud Foster will be steaming over the Derbyshire hills, and through the Greater Manchester urban sprawl on May 4th to attend.

Great to see these 2 engines here. And what a lovely little do it was too. We had a nice ride out in our Foden Diesel. Fingeres crossed for another one next year!

Default On our way there

Just a couple of "posed" photos of Maud Foster on the Derbyshire hills en-route to Ellenroad:

If the weather is owt like next Sunday, I will try and get some photos blasting up out of Glossop towards Hayfield, or out of Hayfield towards Chapel-en-le-Frith
