Carrington. BB1 & Ruston are already over there, or so I'm lead to believe.

Dan ,

My diesel tank tells me that Carrington is not in the Midlands . Don't they teach you nothing at Sheffield ?

Bob,

I would never consider my geography skills to be one of my greater assets. However, last time I checked, I'm sure Lincolnshire was still included in the 'East Midlands' area.

Sadly, they don't teach me anything in Sheffield... Your diesel tank should be aware... its not in the Midlands.

So the East Midlands go to within 10 miles of the sea ?

I suppose that if you are only dividing the map horizontally , then it might be so . But this method would put Pwelli and Holyhead in the Midlands as well .

Or is it according to which television station they receive ? In this case I am in the West Midlands , along with Bishops Castle and Gloucester , but the next street is in East Anglia .

East Mids here too, though 5 miles up the road in Stamford they pick up East Anglia.

I'll be getting the Ruston ready for our trip to Thorney next weekend but might try and pop over to Lamport.
