I roaded the Hornsby engine there the last two years, we were going to take it this year but now a change of plans means it won't be going.

It was the only engine there those two years and no engines at all the year before that - I heard the miniatures were pushed into an area they didn't want to be so stopped going and the full sized stopped for some reason. Unless anyone decides to take an engine that hasn't been before then I'd suspect there won't be any.

I never experienced it when it had a good showing of engines, but in recent years they only close the road for 20mins for the parade, otherwise it's a mess of crowd barriers and traffic and to be honest, it's pretty crap - I only help road the Hornsby there for the owner, I certainly wouldn't bother otherwise.
