Nice to put a face to your name Arfur. Thanks for your pictures. Here's a couple of additions:-

The Burrell Devonshire 'Spitfire' went for a run, I think before you arrived. Note the luxury accommodation for passengers, complete with seat belts.

After you left, lunch was cooked in the traditional manner in Queen Mary's smokebox.
