Hands On, Crockey Hill - Opportunities to take the controls of a ploughing engine, operate the winding gear and steer a plough, cultivator or harrows will be available at the York event. All activities will be under direct supervision of an experienced steam ploughman. To provide flexibility, there will be morning and afternoon sessions of 3 hours duration over three days - 9th, 10th & 11th September. Bookings can be made for a session, a full day or all three days - but have to be made and paid for in advance. If you are keen to participate or want to gift a place to a friend or family member please contact the Secretary. Participants must be 16 or over and reasonably fit.
