As part of the 50th year celebrations for the North Staffordshire and Cheshire Traction Engine Club an 18 mile road run was held today from the Foxfield Colliery Preserved Steam Railway to the Klondyke Steam Centre, Staffordshire. A cold and wet start did not deter the crews of 17 engines who left Foxfield from 9.15, stopping at the JCB World Parts Centre and passing through the middle of Uttoxeter to reach Klondyke by late afternoon. A great time was had by all.

A wet and smokey start at Foxfield.

Still wet passing Tean Hall Mills at Upper Tean.

Weather is improving pulling up the long hill out of Uttoxeter.

The Staton's Aveling passes The Blacksmith's Arms.

Nearly at Klondyke for "Morning Star".
