The engine was buried in a old quarry in Whitestown Co Wicklow. My wife's Grandfather often told me he remembers the engine being pushed in the quarry along with a fowler traction engine . He said when the were pushed there had been fairly well stripped . The Fowler was never recovered! !!!! .
