Yes, a few I managed to squeeze between the crowds of folks. I heard several locals saying how nice it was to see engines parading up the street again like the old days.

Default McLaren 771

This is a scan of a faded print from 1989. A rally to celebrate 100 years of the tractor was held in February 1989 in Gore. A member of a local vintage machinery club had not long made up a tractor pull sledge. As the sledge is dragged down the track weights are winched forward over the skid increasing the drag. Keith Simpson with 771 was the first engine to have a go at pulling the sledge, from what I can remember. We were all very keen to see how it would perform. The track was quite soft and 771 soon ran out of power.
