Thumbs up

One of the perks of going to university in Nottingham -> easy access to the Great Central Railway. It's shaping up to be a good weekend.

It was a brilliant 4 days at QUORN & WOODHOUSE STATION of the Great Central Railway. Thanks go to Michael Stokes for organising such a fantastic event. See everyone next year.

Really enjoyed my time at Quorn, even the wet days! Great company from the Allchin roller crew whose caravan was next to mine, a certain Burrell roller owner whose engine was parked next to Pedler, Jane's crew and Louise's crew for the food and the company, Michael Stokes and his team for the invitation and the organisation, and to Pedler's team for all their help. A lot of people who had never experienced a traction engine manstand before have now had that opportunity over the weekend, and that has to be a good thing!
