EATES 60th Anniversary Dinner Dance

Its that time of year again, time for the East Anglian Traction Engine Societies Annual Dinner & Dance on Saturday 24th October

This being our 60th Anniversary year, we hoping to see as many club members (past and present) as possible to mark this special occasion

The Dinner will be held once again at the grand location of the Bedford Lodge Hotel in Newmarket and will feature local band ‘Macca’, whom have previously played such events as the Societies Sapphire Road Run

In addition to our fabulous band, the evening will also feature an ‘Auction of Promises’. The Auction, held for the first time last year proved excellent fun with an eclectic mix of prizes and promises. Do get your thinking caps on if you think you can provide anything!

Tickets are £38 a head, with a formal dress code.

Timings: Arriving at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, Carriages at Midnight

Menu:

Starter - Carrot & Corriander Soup

Main - Roast Sirloin of Beef & Yorkshire Pudding with Duck Fat Roast Potatoes and Red Wine & Thyme Gravy

Vegetarian - Stuffed Aubergine with Tofu & Plum Tomatoes, Dressed Salad & New Potatoes

Desert - Glazed Orange & Creme Brulee, Apricot & Pistachio
