Part of the Graham Lee collection and kept at Statfold Barns. Private collection but railway is open on a few days a year, ticket only. There is an excellent road steam rally on third? Saturday in September every year, again ticket only. Check Statfold Barns Railway website for details.

The Aveling is gorgeous, the owner recently went to the trouble of replacing the conversion flange having to have a pattern made, rather than just replacing it with a normal chimney base.

It's also worth noting that it roaded over to the rally a distance of 21 miles, fresh out the box, it's first run out since being rebuilt.
