Default Arthur Bursens 52 key Organ

John Wooton has asked me to advertise his Arthur Bursens 52 key Organ.

Built by Arthur Bursens (1890-1982) of Hoboken, Belgium as one of a batch of 4 – 52 key Organs made being the only one fitted with metal trumpets register. Formally being owned by Lord O’Neil of Shanes Castle, Co Antrim, being mounted on a vintage Leyland truck and was it fitted into its present transport in 1986, being a Bedford TK. (1983/84) exempt testing, and taxed as a car. The back of the Lorry is fitted out with a sink, Gas Cooker (2 ring hob and Grill), Microwave Oven, Toilet compartment, and storage cupboards. The music is mounted in 11 boxed stacks each running between 20 to 30 minutes. The Lorry engine was rebuilt in 2010/11 and a new curtain side fitted in 2014. The Organ has been maintained by Kevin Meayers
Peter Haywood has written an article in the Fops notes of the Worlds Fair making mention of this Organ (June addition).

Please contact John Wooton on 07730059742 for further information.

Thanks
