Myford ML7 backgear cluster & Bull wheel

I helped a friend re do his Myford headstock.
There should be packing pieces between the 2 halves of the bearings.
These are made of numerous layers of shim and you just peal off one to tighten things up.
Recheck with bearing blue and scrape the high spots if you want perfect.

They need to do a power of work to go beyong repair.

I would go the new gear as well. I would be pissed if I fitted a used one only to see it break from age.
