Default Final Preparations :)

Hi all. Final preparations now for the 2015 Miniature Traction Engine Rally at Market Bosworth Station, part of the preserved Battlefield Line steam railway. We are showing off the following this year:

* Over 50 miniatures in steam in 1.5" - 6" scales
* Three full size engines (two rollers and a lovely Gen Purpose Allchin)
* Miniature 4" rack sawing and 4" flour milling plus a pop pop stationary engine or two
* 5" gauge miniature ride on railway
* Awning displays
* Traditional organ playing all weekend
* Engine Line up and BIG Whistle 2pm Each Day featuring everything in steam
* Steam trains on the Battlefield Line featuring BR Black 2884 Class 2-8-0 No3803

And, don't forget in the Goods Shed
* Railway catering stand
* Four toy steam stands
* Trade stand from Castle Instruments (Model Steam Boilers)
* Two fairground model-style stands
* 16mm Live Steam Layout "Tyddyn Bach"

Dates are April 25th/26th at MB Station, 10am until 5pm

Gate prices are £4 Adult, £2 Child for MB Station Only and these are refundable against a steam train travel ticket. Steam train tickets are frozen at their normal fares for the weekend so why not travel to the event behind 3803 and see the show for free?!

Please do support us if you can. We have been well supported by exhibitors from across the country and there are some wonderful miniatures coming. Thank you all for your continued TT support

Default See you at the weekend!

Well here we are, the last few days before MTEW 2015. I just want to take this final opportunity to say thank you to everyone that is exhibiting or planning to visit us. It has been a pleasure once again organising the event and I hope it goes well for us all despite the rain. Thank you all and hope to see some of you over the weekend

Thanks for organising this Sam, I am looking forward to it. Over 50 miniatures in attendance must include a fair number of Traction Talk members! Who else is going and what are you bringing?

Cheers, Jack
