I would like to add my thanks for the wonderful reception we got right from the start when we said we would like to bring the engine.Secure storage was arranged for the caravans and the engine between events, others moving caravans to Prestwood waited for us to arrive so that we could follow them. Railway bridges were measured to see if Hero would go under with the chimney up, watering places and the best lunch stop for our journey with the engine were pointed out.
Many members of the public spoke to us, they dont see too many ploughing engines in that area.
