Some lovely looking engines including my old favourites Gladiator and Cornish Maid.

Has got to be one of the best shows i have ever attended with the engine, many thanks to all who helped make this such a enjoyable event,

Steve.

Always is good Steve, Just wish we'd gone down to the lake & had a dip in the pool that was serving the Merrywether !

Visited while down on holiday. Have to say its a fantastic event and is a credit to those who organise it. Always something going on, working demonstations, engines giving rides and showman's engines working rather than just sitting pretty. Loved it.

Wish I'd been able to spend more time at the event but it was glorious while I was there. Thank you to the organising team and engine owners.

Most of my pics are very similar to Robin and Steve's but I thought I would highlight again the quality historic pictures in the programme supplied by Andrew Williams from the Bernard Broad collection. In particular this photograph and text about Burrell showmans, 3660 "The Victor" and it's end:

Pictures of cut up traction engines are a bit like hens teeth, and hold a bit of a morbid fascination with me so I was very interested to see this picture and write up.
