During the foot and mouth crisis a number of rallies were rescheduled to the later part of the year, September/October. Bearing in mind that it can't rain forever I wonder if this would be a viable option for some.

Coppice and Belper have been rescheduled for September both on the same weekend! Elvaston rescheduled to September a couple of years ago after being rained off in July however gate receipts were down. Elvaston & Rempstone have decided not to & have cancelled this year. With so many rescheduled rallies it is difficult to find a suitable weekend in September. Good weather in October tends to be a lottery. Then again you could say that of every month. With a lot of rallies surviving on tight margins its probably too risky to leave until late in the year.
