It is definitely real and does run. Building it has been a process of trial and error for Owen. He had to reduce the gear ratio and is currently working on modifying the feed pump drive. It will be driven off an eccentric on the back axle, the crankshaft speed was a bit quick where it originally was mounted. He made the patterns for the castings himself and then made a furnace to melt down the metal he used to pour them. The idea for it came from an old magazine he had.
