Chain Mail Burnishers were used to burnish bright steel, mainly signal box frame lever handles, but make a great burnisher for reversing and gear levers and any other bright steel work.
A quantity have been made up by ‘Exeter West Group’ and they are available at £16.00 each, plus £0.75 pp.
They are made really well with the chain mail mounted on a thick leather pad.
I have bought two so that we can burnish the control handles in our Sentinel and I said I would place an advertisement on this forum in case anyone would like to purchase one.
