Pole wagon/trailer

Sometimes called a pole wagon and sometimes a timber wagon or timber trailer.

I now have too many projects on the go and would like to sell the timber wagon but it is unfinished. This started out as a horse drawn timber wagon but at some stage was converted from wooden wheels to steel wheels probably in the 1940's. When I found it, it was mostly well rotten but most of the iron work was with it. The wagon is not of the most rugged construction but would suit a steam tractor or small traction engine.

The turntable and front axle are finished but the rear axle needs further work. Most parts are available although the timber for the pole (8 x 8 in section) has yet to be purchased. There are photographs of it in its original derelict state with all measurements.
