The fiftieth anniversary of the rally.

Fowler B6 'Carry on' 14425. This Showmans has the same number as it had on the first rally at Appleford Fifty year's ago.

Wallis & Steeven's 'Big Emma' 2357

Aveling & porter 4604

Burrell gold medal 'Tinkerbell' 4072

Ransome's Sims & Jefferrie's 36220. Aveling &Porter L Type

Burrell 'Margaret' 3926

Sentinel S4 9024

Aveling & Porter 'Whippet'

Aveling & Porter 9096

Fowler. Wallis & Steven's 'Chloe' 7863

Aveling & Porter 'Bertha' 9370

A pleasant rally ,engine's well spaced out and moving around the field though i was "amused" by the double barrier's around the working area's ,to me a single is suffice.

Ron.

I named it Bertha after I brought it, as I didn't like it's previous name, The Baron.
The name plate was only fitted 3 years ago.

Ron.
Unfortunately Elf & Safety have deemed it necessary as Joe Public these days have a habit of walking INTO working areas despite the fact there are barriers & ropes up!
