Glad to say we got there in the end. Looking forward to seeing Robin's Marshall 'Pearl' and one or two more new engines, Middlewood's Fowler 'Ajax', Steele's Fowler 'Sandy' from Fife, Tesseyman's Aveling & Porter roller 'Ruby', along with a lot of old favourites. List to follow. Today the new fields have gone from two long grassy fields to beautifully cut almost lawn. Three new double gates and low cut car parks to die for just off the road next to the site. Well done the lads. Engine owners will be contacted in the next two day with instruction for low loader parking, some in Marfield Quarry, some near Danby's factory on ind est. on Fearby Road, to avoid confusion.Its a wonderful site and wer'e all looking forward to the weekend.
