Went down to last years rally quite enjoyed it, but not very large I think about 8 big engines and 3or 4 littlens.

I went two years ago and had a nice day there , not a big show but a good arena for the engines to parade around .
I hope to get there again this year weather permitting .

Tried to visit last year but could not find any sign of it So went to the transport Museum in Lincoln on way home instead. Is there more than one Winterton nr Scunthorpe or is it like Rempstone, held several miles past the next village ? or do I need a new OS map / new navigator ?

53 degrees, 39 minutes , 18 seconds - North
0 degrees, 34 minutes, 57 seconds - West

On my OS map looks like Just north of the village. and south of the A 1077 from scunthorpe to barton with those co-ordinates. which was were my map book show a little showground symbol and i went.and saw no signs or machinery

My PC is too full to down load the Google Earth addon and google maps doesent have co-ordinates

all this technologies great if you update it every five minutes .

I use Google Earth all the time , especially for getting pin point location markers for the rallies I get to.
Post codes are ok but are only accurate if the rallies are sign posted when getting close to the show.
Helpful web sites regarding the rally site are very useful , especially if it's a show I've never visited before.

Copy & past this in to Google maps +53° 39' 13.73", -0° 34' 53.22"

The show ground is at the east end of the village adjacent to the B1207.

Hope this helps,

Conrad
