Default Cancelled Rally's...

I had a phone call yesterday informing me that the following rally's have been cancelled...Whitchurch (Shropshire) Transport Extravaganza 24-25 July and Market Harborough Steam & Transport Show 13-14-15 August. I wonder why ?.

The poster I saw at the weekend announcing this said "Partnerships don't work" on the bottom...

Maybe ! I've also been told that the high cost of Security and the H & S Requirements are making events too expensive !.

The wife only noticed the Whitchurch doo advertised the other day!.

I see too an event at Shugborough Hall advertised soon.

Good point - but it's worth clarifying here. Not all the answers are on TT, but an answer to every question is on TT!

Yes..Shugborough Hall is still on and organised by the same guy as the other cancelled events, I'm still thinking about going there now that Whitchurch is no go.,

Here, I presume is link to web sit sdvertising event, It does say "all change" but as links are broken I am not sure what "All change means" Contact details are there.

I suppose if someone has a gripe with an event organiser it would be quite easy to run around with event cancelled stickers? It is rumoured that Bob Geldoff did this for U2 gigs to boost attendance at Boomtown Rat sessions.

the transport show was organised by the same people who ran the leicestershire county show...and they went tits up last year! the only reason there was a steam and vintage show on melton airfield, is because they had paid for a 5 year contract with david wilson homes who own the lad. and that runs out sometime this year. and the show on the airfield was an indipendant organisation

i think thats about right
