Unfortunately, the show didn't get the weather to reward the effort made to improve the show compared to when we last went in 2015.

Not many shows can manage 7 ploughing engines and 3 pairs at work. Plus two direct ploughing engines although these were not active on the Sunday.

Unfortunately on the Friday and Saturday the weather for photography was as bad as the show was good.

On Sunday, the results would have been much better between the showers but I had other important business to conduct in Stroud's Golden Valley:

On our way back from Yorkshire we had an hour at the Cromford Rally. Unfortunately, the weather was very overcast.

We visited on the Saturday, the afternoon weather was excellent and I was well satisfied with my photographic efforts.

There was no programme and if there were any engines hidden away from the others, I will have missed them.

Alas the Sunday was likely to be as bad for photography as Saturday was good and we came home early.

There was meant to be a simultaneous YouTube upload, but my desktop computer has crashed and while this report was compiled on my laptop, it cannot deal with video.

We spent two days here and eventually the sun came out and stayed out.

I was mainly here to get some video of the working areas which will hopefully appear in the next few days, but along the way managed to get the usual crop of good record shots.
