The Foden is a scratch build 6 tonner. It was made in a relatively short time by a retired engineer Mr Woltman who ran a successful piling rig company. I think he has made an excellent job of it considering the limited drawings and photographs he had to work from.

I first saw it two years ago at Mr Woltman's home when it was just a frame and boiler. I foolishly promised him a cake if he ever finished it.

It is still work in progress and he plans to change some parts.

Hedd is correct that the block and some motion work was outsourced.
