Chain Mail Burnishers
No we are not selling you these! Someone else is!
Chain Mail Burnishers were used to burnish bright steel, mainly signal box frame lever handles, but make a great burnisher for reversing and gear levers and any other bright steel work. A quantity have been made up by ‘Exeter West Group’ and they are available at £16.00 each, plus £0.75 pp. They are made really well with the chain mail mounted on a thick leather pad. I have bought two so that we can burnish the control handles in our Sentinel and I said I would place an advertisement on this forum in case anyone would like to purchase one. Sorry guys, it appears they only made up what they had pre-ordered.
Hopefully if they get sufficient demand they may make up some more. I could look into it as a line for Heritage, but I would imagine, adding a commercial margin and VAT would make these almost twice the price! Stuart
