We decided to go at the last minute and got there a bit late for us. We've not been before. It's held in a huge public park where the engines sit or move on the park roadways sharing them with the many families who attended. The engines when they moved had plenty of a mixed bag of stewards in attendance. Inevitably they become part of the image which is no bad thing for this type of event. There was plenty going on to entertain families including two reasonable cricket games in progress, leather on willow and all that. The loco is 'Prince' from The Blaneau Ffestiniog Railway. An unusual but entertaining day out. Oh, and it was only £2 to get in but I heard people moaning that last year it was free . . . . .
