First time at this rally, though a bit of a trek it was worth it. A friendly atmosphere and excellent weather.

Great photos as always Ron, the green Fowler with the winding drum is a stunning piece of Kit, what class of engine is she? I have in my head she is some sort of estate engine? she looks so well proportioned and just right, would look stunning on my drive!

Not any sort of estate engine , but a hauling and winding engine , part of an order for the Russian government in WW1 , for artillery haulage . Order cancelled owing to revolution in Russia and Russia withdrawing from the war .

Had a great rally 40 plus miles home. Both engines back in shed.

Thanks to the Halls and every one that puts on Marcle.

See you next year, maybe with something else out the shed??

Thanks

David
