Default Stotfold Working Weekend 11 Oct 2014

Just a few snaps from a quick visit with granddaughters yesterday (cannot do as I would like, wondering around)

Enjoy

Great do, plenty to do and see. Shame there was no Ice Cream Van and some amusements (bouncy castle etc) for the children, otherwise an excellent day in all respects, weather included.

I think the fact that some of usual rally attractions (be it amusements or commercial) were left out helped to make the atmosphere feel more like what the show was intended to be.... a working weekend and not a rally or a fun day etc.
A great show with money going to a worthwhile project.

Well done to all involved.

Jim

Yes, excellent weekend. 2 full days of 'kids' rides with the 3" Burrell and no problems with the engine (trailer wheel falling off twice though&#128544. Hard work but worth it for the smiles (and cash for the mill).

It is always a pleasant do and visitors made welcome. I am eternally grateful that they don't have loud speakers with boring music blaring out to. Nearly every rally we have been to with the engine this year has had severe noise pollution and all my team hate it!
