Default Flexible brake lining, or an old brake band.

Hello

I need some flexible brake lining, only a tiny amount, to drill and rivet to a shoe, the shoe is nearly flat, well would make a huge diameter.

Is there anything people use instead of proper made stuff, its only for a hand brake shoe.

I need a bit, 2" x 8" so tiny. I also need some hollow rivets, about an 20-25mm long, 6 or 7mm dia.

Cheers

Dave

Dave,

I had a bunch of those when I fitted brakes to my lanz bulldog. We ended up having linings bonded on rather than using the rivets. I will try and find where they are. If i can find them there yours!

John

Hi John.

Thanks for the offer, I have sussed it now, I have put them on with some soft Brass machine screws countersunk well into the linings. For the Application, it will last me out. Thanks for the offer though.

Cheers

Dave
