Default Somerset Steam Spectacular, July 13th - 15th is on....

A positive thread here - at the moment it is all systems go for Somerset Steam Spectacular next week. The Low Ham site dries out quickly, and when I drove by this morning it was looking good. The organising team will be moving in this coming weekend, with no thoughts of cancellation..... The Steam Spectacular is on.....

Not a lot of rain since Saturday, site still looking good. Forecast iffy, but as I write this at 11.25, Monday 9th, we are still planning to go on whatever happens.....

I was working close by the site this morning and it started raining steady about 11 am. I am back in Wiltshire now and it is still coming down, the forcast is for it to stop late tonight so we now planning to go first thing in the morning with the lowloader.

Sunday looks the best day.

Tim

Just spoken to someone on site, and all is well.

By all accounts there is an array of excellent exhibits, so get along and show them some support.
