Andrew's Burrell with Chris Hazel's 3 ins 'Minnie' [IMG][/IMG] More Burrells' with Stuart Hart's 9 ins 'Sentalike' lorry [IMG][/IMG] Full frontal of the 'Sentalike' Unless someone else beats me to it, I'll post some photos of the other exhibits later. Such a shame I had to be away at University when this event took place! I had a sneaking suspicion of the new owner of that lovely Aveling tractor when i saw some photos of it on facebook outside my local! Congratulations to the owner, a lovely engine!

Thanks for the link to the other photos Jason B. Before the whole thing becomes history, here's a few of my pictures of the models.
Photographed through a perspex case, but you can't fail to admire the workmanship in this Corliss valved mill engine. [IMG][/IMG] A 1 1/2 ins scale Burrell and friends next to the museum's 16 hp Marshall horizontal. [IMG][/IMG] A 'Minnie' (I think) against a backdrop of an engine from Tower Bridge. [IMG][/IMG] How many engines per square foot? 1879 beam engine from Hopwas, Staffordshire, in the background. [IMG][/IMG] Bill. |
