Default Little Casterton Working Weekend, Sun 21 Sept 2014

Went to the Little Casterton Working Event on Sunday 21 September and found a great show, plenty to see and going on, minimum restrictions just small signs saying working area take care. Great event which I gather is organized as a fund raiser for the local church, excellent value for money on the entrance fee and a good all round enjoyable event, well done to all the organisers, may it continue.

Here are a few photo’s to give a flavour of the day, not much steam only 4 but plenty of other items, a lot of as tractors etc in as found condition all busy working.

Enjoy

Now that's the type of exhibits that we really like. Great to see the units doing what they are designed to. Veryunusual baler shown, not too many self propelled balers ever made.

Jones 'Invicta' - similar to their 'Lion' but self propelled. I think Mike Lawrence has one.

Thanks for the pictures Arthur. We had a great weekend and it was grand to see so many people. Particular thanks to Mike Middlewood for helping me with a frustrating coiling problem on Victory. The baler is indeed Mike's, a long way from home!
