We had a brillaint time at Berwick, I spent most of the time with the Fergie in the ploughing field.
Great pics John. Sorry I didn't get to see you but as I said earlier I was on the tractor most of the time!
Good turnout of exhibits this year I thought, nice to see some different engines there and good to see lots and lots of tractors!

Had a great day with plenty to see. Good to see some new engines, especially the Hindley in steam. Does anyone have any information on the restoration project in the last picture?

The firebox looks similar to a Garrett wrinkly top firebox. If it's to go in the boiler on the trailer it may be a Garrett compound of some sort similar to Vera.

Looking at the box the wrapper plate has been fabricated in 3 sections going by the weld half down the side. The top of the box is also flat front to back rather than being concave as per Garrett's design

i did wonder if it was a garrett, purely because the cylinder block but wasn't really sure
